Background
An association with over 100 years of history – and a website from yesterday
The Ratingen Business Association has been representing the interests of local companies since 1923. Its focus is on knowledge transfer, networking, and events for members.
The problem: The existing Joomla website was outdated, maintenance‑intensive, and could no longer meet the requirements for member management, event planning, and newsletters. Multiple separate systems caused high operating costs and friction.

Our Solution
One System for Everything: Website, Events, and Members
We have consolidated the entire digital ecosystem of the association into a modern platform. Instead of three separate systems, there is now a single central solution:
Content Management – Modern website with intuitive maintenance by the association team
Member Management – Central database of all member companies with contacts
Event Management – Online registration, participant lists and name badge printing
Newsletter System – Integrated email marketing without external service provider
Surveys – Regional business surveys directly via the platform
Corporate Design – Completely new branding including logo and colour concept

By consolidating all systems onto a single platform, the association was able to significantly reduce its operating costs. The team manages the website, events and newsletter independently – without an external agency and without technical knowledge.The platform has continuously grown since its launch: new features such as the survey tool have been seamlessly integrated. Today the association uses the system as a central tool for communicating with its members.
