EV-Charging Portal
for Theißen Power & Charge
30 Years of Electrical Engineering Meet the Mobility Transition
Theißen Power & Charge GmbH is a subsidiary of Theißen Industrietechnik with over 100 employees and more than 30 years of experience in electrical engineering. Since 2020, the company has specialized in e-mobility and operates non-public charging infrastructure for businesses, the housing sector, and municipal facilities.
The challenge: An existing management system could no longer meet the growing requirements. A central portal for customers, technicians, and administrators was missing – vendor‑neutral, compliant with metrology regulations, and with direct bank integration.
The OCPP Backend TPC+ in Use
OCPP Backend TPC+ – Cloud-based and manufacturer-neutral
We have developed a comprehensive customer and service portal that consolidates the entire management of charging infrastructure into a single application. The system communicates manufacturer-neutrally via the OCPP protocol with charging stations from all major manufacturers.
- RFID Authorization – Enabling charging sessions with a card
- Transaction Logging – Complete documentation of all charging sessions
- User Billing – Individual electricity tariffs for tenants, residents and staff
- Giro-e Bank Integration – Guest payment with Girocard directly at the charging station
- Remote Monitoring – Real-time remote monitoring and maintenance
- Automatic Reports – Regular billing reports via email
Calibration-law compliant, bankable, future‑proof
The finished portal is not only calibration‑law compliant, but also offers a unique payment solution directly at the charging station through the GLS Bank integration via Giro‑e. Customers of Theißen Power & Charge manage their entire charging infrastructure centrally – from the user installation to tariff configuration to automatic SEPA billing.
The system scales with you: New charging stations are integrated independently of the manufacturer, new locations are created within minutes. The platform today forms the technical backbone of Theißen Power & Charge's business model.
"The system is not only calibration-law compliant but also has a bank connection for payment with a girocard."
